SO. You might think we disappeared...

and we kind of did,

but not really. Cause then we'd be magic.

We are fixing up a new WEBSITE with an incredibly talented designer which we're REALLY excited about. (you'll hear more very soon) So that's been taking up some of our time.

We are also getting revved up for the 2011 Wedding Season!! Just met with an adorable couple this morning who are tying the knot, and also have a wedding to shoot in just TWO weeks which we are SO ready for! Maybe there will be snow?!

We also mourn the loss of Tiffany's Nifty 50 lens. Yes, people. This is a big enough reason to not take photos. This lens is THAT fabulous. It's a tragic story. We set up a tripod to do a timed photo... and well... there was a pregnant lady involved... and a flying tripod (with said 50mm lens attached to camera)... and 3 stooges... who can take pictures, but seemingly not of themselves.

We should never do a wedding together. Not if it means being serious.

Have you ever had that friend - that just hearing her laugh can make you burst into tears? That friend that you could never be around in ANY kind of serious setting? The truth is, all three of us are this way. When we started this business, our only question slash biggest fear was,

"how on EARTH are we going to be able to work with each other seriously?"

We had the time of our lives!

...and we hope we didn't embarrass ourselves too bad laughing.

Bringing a child into this world has to be the most exciting thing. This little family is beyond ready and I'm sure has long awaited this chapter of their life.

A mother experiences so many feelings during pregnancy. First, there's the whole peeing every 3 minutes thing, then there's extreme heartburn no matter WHAT you eat, constant back pain, of course you have to buy every baby gadget imaginable and the excitement and anxiety are beyond describable.

I was honored to capture this beautiful round belly and I hope someday, they can look back at these photos and feel those same things years from now.

Minus the heartburn.

They are no doubt going to be wonderful parents. I can't wait to meet their little bundle of joy.

Carter is the cheesiest, happiest dog around. Doesn't it look like he's smiling? This is probably the reason that makes dogs {in my opinion} so much better than cats. Dogs show emotion. For the record - I am not an animal lover. In fact, I'm so very close to the opposite. I used to pet my dog with a glove on growing up. Carter is peeling back my layers one at a time and making me appreciate dogs more and more.

Carter is unique. He plays basketball. He actually rebounds the ball and brings it back every time. He wants nothing to do with fetching baseballs.

I'm so glad they didn't, because it was the most beautiful wedding ever. They are adorable together and we were able to witness their love all throughout the day.

We were threatened by rain, hail and thunder - but when the bride arrived, she brought the sunshine with her. She was glowing in white and the groom beamed with the most excited, giddy smile.
